Ilisagvik College in Barrow, Alaska, has become a member of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium as a tribal college, making it our northernmost tribal college. Located in the Arctic Circle, Ilisagvik College
is a two-year community college offering quality post-secondary academic, vocational, and technical education aimed at matching workforce needs. Like other tribal colleges, it is dedicated to preserving and strengthening Inupiat (Eskimo) culture, language, values, and traditions.
