Coca-Cola Foundation Grants $250,000 to American Indian College Fund to Support First Generation Scholars

The Coca-Cola Foundation is continuing its support of first generation Native American scholars through a generous donation of $250,000 to the American Indian College Fund. For 20 years, The Coca-Cola Foundation First Generation Tribal Scholarship Program has increased access to higher education and leadership development opportunities for tribal college students that are the first in their families to attend college. »More

Travelers Foundation Grants $35,000 to American Indian College Fund

The American Indian College Fund was awarded a $35,000 grant by the Travelers Foundation, the charitable arm of The Travelers Companies, Inc, to renew its longstanding commitment to empower American Indian students to achieve academic and professional success. The Travelers Foundation Tribal College Scholarship Program will continue to provide much-needed scholarship support to American Indian students who are residents of Minnesota, Washington, Montana and/or Kansas and are attending one of the tribal colleges in those states, or are attending mainstream colleges in the cities of St. Paul- Minneapolis, Minnesota; Seattle, Washington; Spokane, Washington; Missoula, Montana; and Kansas City, Kansas. »More

American Indian College Fund Receives $75,000 for Scholarships from Citi Foundation

The Citi Foundation granted $75,000 to the American Indian College Fund to continue the Citi Foundation Scholarship & Career Exploration Program. This program provides scholarships to Native students attending the following tribal colleges and universities in South Dakota: Sisseton Wahpeton College, Oglala Lakota College, or Sinte Gleska University. The Citi Foundation also sponsors a one-day career fair at a South Dakota tribal college where Citi representatives, tribal program administrators, and city/county department officials introduce students to career opportunities around South Dakota and beyond.»More
