FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MetLife Grants American Indian College Fund $15,000 for Scholarships
Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their financial need, education enrollment status, and community involvement. Students will be notified of their selection status in August 2009 for the 2009-10 academic year. The American Indian College Fund supports qualified American Indian scholars by providing financial support to encourage them to remain in college and complete a college degree. The Fund believes in facilitating students, in a way that ultimately enables them to make a better life for themselves and their families, while providing valuable contributions to their communities and nation. “MetLife is helping American Indian students make the dream of education a possibility for our students.
