Toyota Motor Sales, USA Announces $100,000 Grant to American Indian College Fund for Scholarships

DENVER, COr (September 26, 2007) – Toyota Motor Sales, USA announced that it has renewed its commitment to American Indian education, by donating $75,000 to the American Indian College Fund in support of 2007 scholarship grants and $25,000 for the Flame of Hope Gala, which raises additional scholarship funds for American Indian students.

Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their financial need, education enrollment status, and community involvement. Students were notified of their selection status in August 2007 for the 2007-08 academic year.

The American Indian College Fund supports qualified American Indian scholars by providing financial support to encourage them to remain in college and complete a college degree and build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
